Our club promotes literacy and education initiatives in secondary schools, and at the college level. Over the years, we have participated in Read Across America, provided science kits to local elementary schools, and fund ongoing scholarships to women at the local community college. We have written grants for books for babies and for those in continuing education.
One of the best ways to support local literacy is to attend our annual fundraiser benefiting the initiative – what a fun way to promote education! And teachers receive a well-deserved discount to the event!
